Our farm started out with two mamas, Clover and Callie. With Clover came her baby Pumpkin. Over the course of the next few years, sadly at the age of 15 Clover passed on. But Pumpkin has carried on her legacy and calved many beautiful babies. Along with Pumpkin and Callie, we brought in Gidget, Daphne, Darla, Winnie, Raven, Bailey, and Ellie!
All our mamas are huge sweethearts and have excelled at calving and raising their young. Our highland mamas come in all shapes and colors, as you can see! All the calves this year are from one of these mamas.
When our moms aren't raising young they spend their days bathing in the sun, stocking up on grain, and living their best lives. Every now and then they get a slight annoyance at the donkeys, but they're sure to put Jett and Jersey right back in their place.
Why a highland cow?
